Default Speedometer in miles for my 123GT

Good evening,

Have recently moved from Denmark to the UK and brought along my classics and now preparing for the inspection/registration. In this regard I suspect a requirement would be for mph reading on the speedometer? As such would be very interested to hear if anyone has a spare instrument with speedometer in mph for my 123GT (1968) which they'd be willing to part with? Not sure if it also require a different gearing on the gearbox out put?

Any ideas welcome.

Thanks & Seasons Greetings
John

My 122s lived abroad for many years and the previous owner had converted it to Kilometer clocks. It's been back in the Uk for many years and had passed many MOT's in that state and whilst I've bought MPH clocks I've not fitted them yet - as I feel it will sort of take a bit away from the personality of the car.

I have no problem with the clocks as they are. Just remember 50kph = 30mph, 65kph = 40mph, 80kph = 50mph (well approximately anyway) and you'll be fine.

Dave.

If you can't find one closer to home, I've got a box full of amazon speedo heads that are in mph.
