Default Vida/Dice support to end???

Sooner or later I believe Volvo will launch a new O.S. to replace the Vida/Dice set up. In view that most things change over time, I'm thinking of futureproofing myself.
My currently used Dice setup is 2013A on an XP laptop. This is Ok for my 2004 V70, but it won't recognise the 2015MY V70 I also run, and plan to keep for many years.

I don't wish to run Vida on my new car yet , but if I wait the 3yrs for the warrantee to expire I doubt I'll get a Vida/dice set up then (in the same way I could not get a VCT2000 setup today)

Anyone read a 2015MY vehicle and if so what Vida version was it? and what windows version lappy ran it. I have read that Vida 2014 needs Windows 7 (pro), but have seen one setup on XP (SP3). anyone else been able to do this and if so what was involved?

Cheers

Bob

Default update :- well Snookered...

A member has tried the VIN for my 2015 MY V70 D5 on VIDA 2014/D and the VIN is not recognised.

Therefore all V70 after Dec 2014 can't be read by VIDA 2014D, a line in the sand has been drawn.

Cheers

Replacement system is supposedly 100% online and by subscription only.

Can of worms surely if you're not on the net.

Has anyone else tried since the last post to get Vida 2014D working with a MY 2015 car?
