Default URGENT need a single 17" Thor wheel.

Found today one of mine has clobbered a pot hole and is split. Condition of wanted wheel not really important as the whole set will be refurbed together. So long as it is circular and not cracked!!

Thanks.

Stu

Thanks for the heads up. I had considered his part ex deal but didnt think he would take my set with one cracked rim. I will ring him tomorrow.

Thanks again.

Blasted thing. Didnt notice when I bought last week. Damage on inside and it drives fine with no vibration whatsoever.

Phoned him. They are moving premises and have everything currently in storage. He says it will be the new year before they are up and running again. Thanks again for the suggestion though.

Random question to throw into this thread (sorry) but If I had a spare single Thor (I do not), would it fit in the boot where the space saver is, or is the whole point that the spacesaver is smaller than the main wheel a so fullsize spare wouldn't fit?

Sorry if this seems obvious, but my last few car's spares have been fullsized, and the wheel well in the boot of the S60 does look like it's take a larger wheel.

I can't speak for myself as I don't have a spare wheel well and have the spare in the boot. But my Dad has an XC70 and binned the spacesaver for a full size wheel, it fits in the well in his.

I have a Thor alloy shod with 225 45 17 as a spare wheel for my phase 1 V70, when I first put the spare in the wheel well it needed inflating, when I did this (in situe) I couldn't get the wheel out as the tyre was gripping the sides, I had to let the tyre down.
Next time I inflated the spare out of the car and put it back in the spare wheel well, the rear load deck covers are a PITA to get to close down fully as the wheel/ tyre doesn't drop fully in to the wheel well, you can get the panels down with some effort but it's far from easy - Mike

ah well, that's a shame. I was having ideas about a group buy of a set of 4 and splitting 4 ways for some quality spare wheels in the boot

Don't think that'll work out.
