900 estate wanted

Hi All,

I've been looking for a 240 GLT estate for a good while now, and haven't managed to find anything even half decent, so I thought it was time to try my second option....

So, I'm after a VERY good condition 940 estate, and will pay up to £2500 for the right car....

Must be 2.3 engine, preferably HPT.
Manual or auto, not fussy.
Must be estate body, NOT saloon.
Must have full or nearly full MOT.
Must have some tax.
Must be low mileage, and NO, I don't consider 150K plus to be low mileage!

Generally the car must be in superb condition, both interior and exterior - Cars that need rust repairs, have dents or major scratches, or those with tatty interiors won't even be considered. Paintwork must also be in first class order - no peeling lacquer etc.

All equipment must work as intended - ie, if the car has aircon it MUST work, the same applies to sunroofs, and ALL other equipment fitted to the vehicle. They are just examples, I have to admit that I'm not particularly bothered about aircon or a sunroof, but if fitted they must work!

So has anyone got something they think would be suitable? Cash is waiting now for the right car....

Sorry, Just read your add a little more thoroughly. I think my car will need to much doing to it to be of interest. AC not working and millage will be to high. Sorry for I should have read it properly first.

R reg 940 2.3 lpt, manual estate, met silver, half leather grey interior, 1 local owner, approx 48k on the clock from new !
