Aero Bars & Bike Racks

I have the Volvo aero style roof bars on my XC90, does anyone know what bike racks are compatible?

Why don't you give roofracks.co.uk or one of the other specialist online retailers a call. When we bought our roofbox and the bike acrriers, they were very helpful.

Any 'T' track fitting cycle carrier will fit, I use the Thule 591.

Thanks, I assume i just pull the rubber inserts out?

No they don,t. The Volvo Aero bars are a very wide section. Not all cycle racks will "sit down" properly on them. I have two types of Thule cycle rack, and one type will not fit. (The type that clamps the fork drop-outs). Absolute pain, because if I want to transport more than two bikes I have to fit Thule Aerobars, and mine are are not quite wide enough to properly fit the rails. If you want to carry more than three bikes the Volvo bars, because they fit between the rails, are a tight fit anyway.

i am selling these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1408067030...84.m1555.l2649 . i have used them a few times for 2 adult bikes on the roof using the Volvo Aero bars and they fitted fine with the T track pins supplied. They also include the clamps, which i have not tried on the Aero bars.

i have only listed the clamps in the advert, but will check to make sure the T track pins are all there as i have also used them for a mont blanc roof box.

forgot to add, i am only selling them as i'm getting a towbar mounted set up as i'll have 4 bike to add.
