Camshaft Position Sensor Issue
I am having a Camshaft Position Sensor Issue.
The vehicle developed a misfire when in the outside lane of the M25! And I had to get Volvo SARA to recover the vehicle back home. Initially the problem was a split hose from the intercooler to the throttle body! 67482856_2253084854810949_8217213254129156096_n.jpg But I then had a fault code for the MAF so I replaced it with a genuine Bosch one. Then it came up with a code for the Camshaft Position Sensor (ECM-P033500 Camshaft Position Sensor A Circuit) after an hour of swearing and scratching up my hands and arms I replaced the Camshaft Position Sensor with a genuine Bosch one. But I still have the fault code for the Camshaft Position Sensor and although the car will now start again, it is very reluctant to start first of all, and I am back at square one in not knowing what the issue is! Anyone have any ideas? Last edited by auzo63; Aug 10th, 2019 at 13:33. |

First job is to stop replacing parts just because there is a fault code.
The code you have can be caused by a range of potential problems as listed in Vida so you work through and eliminate the possibilities. If you have a wiring issue for example (just one of the possibilities), no amount of new sensors will fix the problem.
