Default V70R AWD air filter

Which air filter for my 2004 V70R AWD

E-2019 K&N Replacement Air Filter at £70.00

This is the one in the car can I just wash it out with petrol OR some other cleaning agent and I think it needs to be oiled that could be bad for my MAF sensor

OR

Mahle Air Filter LX976 at £21.00

OR

Crosland at £25.00

Default filter

If your R uses the standard airbox ( like mine) I use the Mann filter from Eurocar parts.

Would not use the Crossland. - think they are Chinese using the "name"

Have not had any issues in 10+yrs

Cheers
Bob

The Crossland brand has been bought by Euro Car Parts. It's generally their cheapest line of filters. I avoid the brand (unless I find new old stock for my classics) and buy Mahle from ECP.

I mean Mann, not Mahle (although they’re OK)

Have been using this one for a while, is washable but do not oil as recommended because of MAF.

I have the K&N filter, which I've just claned and oiled using the K&N recharge kit. No problems and it made a difference to power. You certainl notice the difference
