I have the Tempa spare in my V60 which is a T125/80R17. This was the official spare wheel kit purchased through Volvo when I got the car. I do have 17" alloys, but I believe all the Tempa wheels are the same.

Thanks, everything seems to be pointing to the 17" wheel. Although Xceed's experience shows there are a couple of different designs of the 17" wheel.
Mine is a T5 Momentum, not Pro unfortunately. Was your kit part of the manufacturer new car option, or did your dealer do the upgrade? Chris |

Ok I can confirm that T125/80R17 tempa wheel from an XC60 (Rim 31302356) DOES NOT fit the V60 mk2.
The Front Brake caliper is much bulkier and prevents the wheel locating on the hub. It's fine on the rear, but that limits you to punctures on the rear wheels only :-( Also the Jacking point on the new V60 are new, so old style jacks don't work. The jack needs a round 30mm spigot which locates into the round hole of the jacking points. I suspect they have standardized the jacking point to match the hoist arms in the workshops. |

I just tried a genuine XC60 125/80R17, No Go ... Fitted the rear hub OK but not the front, it hit the brake caliper. Chris |

Is there any chance you could publish the RIM partnumber, it's stamped on one of the flats between the stud hole? I've just tried a XC60 17" and it does not clear the front brake caliper. Thanks Chris |

The plot thickens!!!! After a lot of research I found out the following.
If the vehicle left the factory with either 18, 19 or 20" wheels, the front braking system was upgraded to 345mm discs and heavier caliper and pads. Basically they put the V90 disc on it ( incidentally the new version XC60 also got the upgrade). The V90 tempa wheel is a T125/80/R18M. XCeed mentioned his rim was 17" with a larger clearance, but looking at the profile of the Volvo 17" tempa I had this weekend, I'm not sure where they are going to trim off 15-20mm? Having measured my hub, I have the 345mm discs, and the distance from the centre of the hub to the edge of the brake caliper is 8 1/4" out to 9" ( the caliper is stepped). I will try and get Volvo parts department to get a definitive answer from Volvo technical department. Chris

I'll get a photo of the wheel later and post it on here. I bought mine at the same time as my car, but as a dealer fit accessory to keep below the magic £40k price, but effectively it's the same as the one you get if you order it as an option.

I had a spare fitted earlier this year, I can look at the details of the wheel today/tomorrow most likely if you'd like.
But in response to your plot thickening, my car (V60) came out of the factory with 20inch wheels fitted. I subsequently have changed these to 17" which the dealer advised were the smallest I could go while still clearing the brake callipers.
