Default New member daft question.

Hi there all, thought I'd introduce myself.

I have now owned a 2008 model (57plate) S40 1.6 petrol since November 2007 nad overall I am very pleased with the motor. Looks great, sounds great (High Performance Stereo), drives well and feels a lot more expensive than what I am actually paying for it.

Bought the car online from Sonn Autos who were offering £2000 off the on the road price and with an Audi A2 to chuck in as part exchange I am now paying just over £100 a month???

My dads in the process of ordering a new 08 Corsa and he's going to be paying more than me - for a Corsa.

Anyway, sorry to blab on. I just have one question to start with.
How do you found out how long you have to go before your next service? Bearing in mind that I did not have the Drivers information Centre as an option.

So can I find this out?

Looks like this forum is the very place to find out about all my queries as and when they arrive.

Thanks in advance, Neil

Thumbs up

Welcome to the forum. Not owning one I don’t know for sure but I would imagine there will be a light on the dash to tell you when it is ready for a service. No doubt someone will correct me if im wrong

The dash display will warn you when a service is approaching (even without the driver information centre).

You'll need to refer to your service book for the specified service intervals, however I get mine serviced at least once a year, more if i've done a lot of miles.

Hope that helps
