Emission's - 2.0D DPF v 2.0D non DPF ?
Hello,
I have read that the V50 from around 2004 > came with the DPF with addtive and that there was a period in around 2005 (ish) where some 2.0d came without a DPF. Can any owners of DPF cars and non DPF cars confirm if the emissions is the same for tax purposes. ? I know you can tell via the vin number, but was wondering if there is any way to find out via the reg plate using the DVLA site ? Thanks in advance. Rick |

no there is not bluntly from what i have seen on here there is in fact the total opposite very few of the 2.0D's i have seen in members hands have them.
mine is a 2009 C30 i know a number of V50's that are the same. i think your talking about 153/154 there is pretty much nothing in it. parkers 2.0D SE Sport 5d (07) 48 mpg 154 g/km G Road Tax | Company Cars 2.0D SE Sport 5d (09/04) 49 mpg 153 g/km G Road Tax | Company Cars 2.0D SE Sport 5d (10/04) 48 mpg 154 g/km G |

Thanks, i was going to try and use the data DVLA hold to reg check the car and see the emissions output to gauge if it had a DPF or not.
Above, you say most cars in members hand dont have them--- is that most cars are non DPF around the 2005/2006 mark ? Thanks |

I beleive the quoted power output is the same but with no DPF the consumption is slightly better resulting in it just falling into band F.
