Default c30 1.6 diesel cutting out 3000rpm.

I have a volvo c30 1.6 diesel 2010 plate.
the car drives really well however if i floor it the car completely cuts out at 3000rpm, however, if i put my foot down slowly it is fine.
i have checked for leaks in the turbo and it seems fine and i have replaced one of the turbo pressure sensors (apparently there is 2) at the bottom of the engine.
anyone had a problem like this and how can i fix it as i am looking to sell it ... :/

Is your engine management light on?
Have you scanned the fault codes with VIDA?

When you say it cuts out at 3000rpm do you actually mean it cuts out or just that it won't rev past 3000?

no 2520 fuel pressure was the only code that came up.
the car will not rev past 3000rpm so for the car to go back to normal i literally have to take the key out (whilst it is driving still) and put it back in.

additive tank was done 2 months ago and i had the dpf filter changed in november

If it won't rev past 3,000rpm it's in limp mode for some reason. That code looks like it came from a generic code reader. Have you plugged it into VIDA/DICE?

No i haven't, i have contacted Volvo and explained the problem but they didn't even know there was a boost pressure valve in the engine.
Still waiting for them to get back to me about booking it in.
Just wondering if anyone had this problem before?

Sadly with a code read by a generic reader all we've got to go on really is that the car is in limp mode. Many of us have had that but for very different reasons.

If your DPF and EOLYS have been recently dealt with it could be any one of many things. It could turn out to be something to do with fuel pressure but that's not a given.

I have both a generic Bluetooth code reader and VIDA and it's 50/50 as to whether the generic reader codes result in a meaningful diagnosis. It's better than nothing but often fails to give the level of detail needed to point in right direction. Best to see what's shown up by a VIDA scan.
