I have tried reporting it to eBay for having false inormation but it is impossible! Yoy just end up with a load of "suggestions" and when you do click report item it doesn't have an option for "false information ". EBay really don't car about what is sold as long as they get their money.

Ebay Fraud 08003586551
Direct them to internet links of evidence of wrongdoing.
You'll need to be patient as you'll be dealing with someone in the Philippines.
Good luck !

I think you have to buy the item then report it if it's not as described Luke. Phil might be able to do that but it depends exactly how he did the deal with the "Three Conning Monkeys".

Thanks for the support, guys...and yes, it's the same G reg car with the wrong indicators. I took it for a test drive when the "dealer" finally got it running, and when I hit the brakes both indicators fell out and were dangling by the wires. When I parked it and spied what had happened I burst out laughing...it was that or I think my own eyes would have popped out and been dangling by the wires at that point

I notice he has now amended the eBay listing description with:

"Remember this is 30 years old, don't waste your time and mine if you are a Volvo nerd"

That's one way to sell a car..."this is a collector's item, fast becoming rare and increasing in value. However, don't bother even coming to view it if you know anything about the car" 😂😂
