Default Scottish convoy to Bruntingthorpe

I hope admin don't mind me posting here. Is there anyone heading down from Scotland on the Saturday? Volvo Owners Scotland are leaving from Strathclyde Park on 30th March at 11am. Would be great to team up and head down en mass.

Cheers

Might pick you all up on the way as I'm near Scotch Corner.

Actually just looking at the routes, going A1/M1 is almost exact same distance wise as M6. What do you reckon is the best road? least hold ups?

I thought that some of us were meeting at Cumbernauld at 10am? We are having a meet at VolvoJim's on 12th February to discuss the intricacies!
Regarding the route, the A66 to Scotch Corner is a more interesting road and at some stage, if you continue down the M6 you are also going to cross country so probably not much in it. I would prefer A66/A1/M1 but happy to tag along.

Is that being organised through here? Volvo Owners Scotland are planning leaving Strathclyde Park between 10.30 and 11.
Where is everyone staying thats going down on Saturday? Think our lot are a mix of Hilton, Marriot and Premier Inn Leicester

Ewan, I am staying at the Best Western, Ullesthorpe Court Hotel, about 5 miles from Lutterworth. A few of the guys including Gordon and James are staying at The Shambles in Lutterworth. It was fully booked so I couldn't get in there.
There's a few of the Scots guys are meeting at James's place at Slammannan (Volvo Jim) on 12 February to sort out the details. I thought it was the VOS chaps who decided Cumbernauld. I don't know the times for VolvoJims meet.
