Ok, I can see it now but I can't see any damage although I did get a replacement as the outer disc was knocked off the old one so may be the problem with the second hand pulley?

It should be ok if you can see no physical damage , scratches or dents to that outer rim with the brown rubber unmarked .

I have today took off the cam belt, changed the crank sprocket to a spare, used an air ratchet on the fuel pump and pumped till no air came from the green connection pipe.
I also tried putting pipe on a couple of the injector pipes and used the air ratchet on the pump, I tried with the ignition off and on but I couldn't get any fuel through? I thought I should get something.

Put the belt back on and tried starting but it wouldn't start, it sort of tries but that's it. I am now at a loss. The crank sensor is a new one.

What would stop fuel going to the injectors?

you have to bleed the system with a hand pump which fits in between the Inlet pipe and the fuel filter . It will not bleed itself . Have you had the fuel filter off?

Fuel filter hasn't been off or disconnected, I was also told to read a thread about bleeding involving the return line. Nothing about a pump?

I understand this is a high pressure common rail, I can get fuel out of the green return when I spin it over but connecting a pipe to an injector feed I don't get fuel? when I spin it over.
What would stop this as I now believe it must be the problem? no fuel to the injectors.
