Line, form, balance, proportion, rythm...I don't know but your car does look better for it. My s/h V70 doesn't have one...doh! and I cannot really justify the expense of a retro fit.......can I?

There's someone on e-bay selling V70 spoilers for about £40.00. You'd have to hunt through the 'V70' search to find him. I did ask, and was assured that they would fit any 2000-2007 (pre new model) cars, and apparently no drilling?

I might save a few pennies to get one, and get local spray show to spray up before I fitted it, but money is a little tight right now, and I can't justify the cost to SWMBO (although she can justify the cost fo a completely redecorated bedroom for teenage daughter (new carpet, curtains, bed, bedlinin etc etc), who will trash the room in about 4 weeks!

I'll really Have to sell Hermione now!

The gen V70 spoiler for the 2001- 2007 V70 has two screws at each end of the tailgate to drill and then is glued in place. I bought mine secondhand on ebay and had my local bodyshop paint it. All in it cost me approx £100.

Ordered (285 Eur), sprayed and fitted (105 Eur) through local volvo dealer: 390 Eur (about 280 Gbp) 19% VAT Included. This price is for Greece though.

If you manage to get it on ebay you may be able to spend less, and if you order it form the states, you may pay even less (but you should take into account the customs and shipping fees).
