S40 (New) General : - Streaking

Decided to replace my wiper blades at the weekend so popped down Halfords (as its about the only thing I trust then with) to be told they don’t do blades for my S40 2004 nor does Bosch (the other brand they sell) and they are a Volvo only part….

Someone tell me that’s not true

I am afraid it is true, If i remember right they will cost circa £30 too.

search for part number N93925A they came up when I searched on your model.

Listed as for 'various applications 21" & at £7.25 each.

Give em' a ring you may well find they fit (they'll do a search of their parts compatibility program themselves to confirm). They've always been mega helpful to me. Infact I recently sent them a thankyou e-mail for putting up with me!

After a recent trawl of various shops and ebay, the cheapest place was Volvo. £32.

They are Bosch Aero wipers, re badged for Volvo.

BTW, the same blades are on the Ford CMax and they charge £55!

Saw them but the dealers were still cheaper.

I got some via my local motor factor made by Trico - still an aero blade - slightly different design to the Volvo ones, but they mount with no mods required.

Cost about £22 I think. In use they were noisy at first (should have really cleaned teh screen of the old wiper rubber beforehand) but they work okay now.
