We have just taken delivery of the XC60, very impressed, it feels a nicer environment than the discovery I had a few years ago, just got to get used to a diesel again after a hybrid car for the last 4 years.

Just a couple of questions so far:

Can you turn the sat nav screen off?
How do you partially set the alarm so you can leave a dog in the vehicle.

There is an option in the Menu to reduce the interior sensors. Not tested them.
And you can turn the SatNav screen off by selecting another option like Radio or the Car System menu.

There is a really useful built in Manual that works when the car is stationary.

That explains why the manual is so thin, I thought you had to go online - I'll have a play later.

If you go into my car settings you will find a button for reduced guard if you tick this it will ask you if you want it each time you park . It just switches off the interior sensors but the door alarms are active.

MyVolvo was 100% accurate for my order from Jan to March !
Also on a R-Design, with options was £42K, so I was also keen to get it before 1st April.

The dealer has been very good, sounds like they have been pretty busy because of the tax changes, think my car arrived before they were expecting it but they were hoping to register it in transit anyway, just need the VIN for that, can't fault the dealer been great.
