Default Headlight washers not working

Please can you help me. This is my first post, so please bare with me if I have posted in the wrong section.

I have a 2006 V70 D5.

The windscreen washers are working but the headlight washers are not despite the electric motor seemingly working.

I have removed the bumper cover and detached the water pipe that connects to it. There is no flow of water, so I reckon it is nothing to do with blocked jets.

Any ideas will be gratefully received.

Take the pumps off and clean everything thoroughly. You've a blockage somewhere

That's a good place to start, but in my case (V70) the pipework behind the front bumper had failed and was leaking. This section of pipework is available complete as a Volvo spare part. Reasonably priced.
