145 Diff
Hi guys, was fitting a new gearbox to my 1973 145 to notice that there a bit of play in the diff, the bearings feel ok but when you rock the prop theres about a 1cm of movment between the teeth, i'm towing to sweden in april and dont want to risk a breakdown, when you drive its quite enouth, only a little purr when lifting off, what do you think guys, should I be worried??? if so has anyone got one for sale???

RE: 145 Diff
Hi
Can't comment on the 'state of play' however, I dismantled a 1973 145 a year or two ago and have a complete back axle therefrom. Couldn't guarantee that it will be any better than the one you have but you're welcome to look at it. I'm in North Wiltshire. Tel 07966 448371. Best regards Stuart |

RE: 145 Diff
Hi Kev
Sorry for the delay in responding. . . The car was manual. I'm in Brinkworth which is between Malmesbury & Wootton Bassett on the B4042. The axle is pretty much complete with hubs, discs etc make me an offer. . . Cheers Stuart |
