Yoo really know how to spoil your gal with a new dis cap after 5 years

I have replaced 3 in recent years all of which were in similar condition. All 3 mot as around the 160k mark, last to replace was Saffy and how she ever started let alone rain I shall never know ! Winston was dealer serviced and still in a dire state

Bottom line - they are routinely not replaced even by a main dealer even with large miles on the clock - my 3 were almost without doubt original !!

The cap and rotor are Bosch. I would check and compare Volvo/Bosch price

As to the dampers the aftermarket Sachs/Boge units are nowhere near as good quality as what they were for OEM. If you want good dampers of close to OEM then look at Bilstein or Monroe
