Service interval
A 30 day warning for a service popped up today on my V90 D4 dashboard. Bought the car from a Volvo main dealer 4 weeks ago, only 5,500 miles and was 1st registered July 2019. Factoring in the 30 days warning that's still only 10 months. Slightly perplexed as I thought they were every 12 months or 18,000 miles whichever is first and not based on what the car thinks as in my previous Audi. Any ideas?

They did not reset the service interval when doing the PDI, in July, several owners have had this happen. It should have been zero'ed when originally sold.

The 12 months service interval for a new car starts when the car is PDI'd and it's possible that, despite the car being first registered on 1st July, it was actually PDI'd in mid May, which could explain why the service warning has appeared now.
