200 Series General Forum for the Volvo 240 and 260 cars

  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way

I was amazed to see, while driving my 245 on Friday, a metalic silver GL, TWO ....YES TWO silver 245's within 5 minutes on Wimbourne road, Winton, Bournemouth

It was windy and raining ....I was in a part of Leeds I shouldn't have been due to Google Rubbish Route Planner but I caught sight of D89 JWT in the Lawnswood area!

Was emerging from a side street in Leigh this lunchtime and got a wave from a fellow Volvo owner who looked surprised to see another 240 in town.

Returned the wave. Was it a forum member?

Hi rusty that was me.

I was on my way to work and I thought at the time ' now who was it on the forum who gave me that address off St Helens Rd and was his dark blue'.

Thought I might see a spotted on here.

I actually wondered whether there would be two spotted because my Mrs. was coming into Leigh soon after me same route in her 240 and your paths could have crossed seeing the direction you were turning.
