Heated Wing Mirror
HELLO ALL, MY 1999 S40's BOTH WING MIRROR DON'T DEMIST!
I'VE BEEN TOLD THE ELEMENTS HAVE BURNT OUT. WOULD I NEED TO BUY THE COMPLETE WING MIRROR OR CAN I JUST REPLACE THE GLASS ? ANY IDEAS ????/ REGARDS URFAN |

I was quoted 90 Euros for just the glass (1) for a calibra, It's amazing how quickly you get used to not having heated mirrors when you're quoted silly prices like that.
As spring is around the corner your need for heated mirrors will not be so urgent, if you get quoted silly prices by Volvo you may be better off taking your time over the summer searching through e bay or the scrap yards. Cheers |

yeah you can get the glass seperate from the complete mirror unit but like catflem said they cost new a fair old bit i too was quoted stupid money for the heated mirror glass on my calibra but how much they are for s40s i dont know i ended up just getting a non heated one for a couple of quid and never really bothered me that it wasnt heated

Nordic etc sell replacement glass. Work fine and from memory cost me about £25 for one for the 850.
