No need for removal of all those parts
I remove the filter (need to change it anyway) Not sure if its in the recirculation stream but make sure it wont
Put it in recirculation mode with the aircon on and spray a bit of airco /germ killer in let it condens and shut it off for a few hours and then drive with the aircon on to "flush" it with excess condens

I also make sure that those drains under the windshield are free to prevent cem problems

Last post could possibly beg the question, if you know the answer, why ask in the first place?

Question was where the entry of the air was/is when in circulation mode, wich xc70bob answered with a handy photo
Wich i thanked him for after i confirmed that it was opening/closing in recirculationmode
Why should one dismantle a lot of things ?
