Problem with ETM DIM or NAVI??? Cheap services here

Hi Lukas

The DIM in my V70 dash (2002) has finally given up completely. the gauges are fine, it is just the message display, which was ok for the first couple of minutes, but then scrambled.

I'm coming down to London on the train end of next week and was wondering where you are, in case I could drop it off??

Thanks Lukas for fixing my Dim on my S60, this guy is the best dropped it in on the Monday and picked it up the next day.Has been in the car for 2 weeks now and no problems.

Would recomend anyone with the same problems to see him.

Can i share my worries with you?

I have a v70 awd d5 geartronic - 2003 with 144k miles (i've had it 3 years). Great car when it works.

Recently, the srs airbag service light came on. It appears that this came on because the airbag failure warning light doesn't work. Also, the blue main beam warning light sometimes doesn't work. (Incidentally, i've read that wiring beneath the driver seat can be linked to this problem - the seat has been removed at some point in the past and the heated seat cable disconnected -perhaps this is a red herring).

Before i package up my DIM for your attention, would you agree that this looks like a DIM problem? (Looks like it to me). I know that there are no 100% guarantees but i thought that i'd ask you before doing the deed.
(Finally, is the e-bay route easiest for you?)

Sorry assume i can't PM you as I am new member
Hope you can help... just seen this thread and have had a message on my wife's S60 'SRS airbag service urgent' Told by Main Dealer it is Driver Information Module (DIM) fault and needs repairing + software. Does this fit the profile for you to fix? If so can i drop it to you as you are in London I am on West side.
If this is a goer let me know your contact details and i will send mine etc.

We are new members. The dashboard on our 2003 S60 has finally given up, the only light that comes on with the ignition is the engine management light, which goes off straight away. Nothing else works, is this down to the DIM? if so can it be repaired?

This guy is great! I tracked the parcel- he got it at 13.05. At 12.45 the next day, it was back in my car working perfectly!. I have told Jump Leads it St Annes as Brian was being charged a lot more than £50 plus postage!
