Hi Guys

Is there a cheap way of getting some of the features altered on a 2004 s60 without getting ripped off at a dealers?

I dont want the headlights on all the time (sidelights would be better)
I also want the p/s window one touch turning on (as per foreign cars)

Thanks in advance

Nik

only if you know someone or someone on here with the right software is able to do it for you. You need the Volvo vida dice software like the dealers

The daylight running lights can be turned off by anyone with a dice, there's a map on here somewhere of everyone who has one.

The one touch wasn't available for around a year around the age of your car, my old 53 reg was the same, nothing can be done about that I'm afraid.

1 touch windows? Auto fold/unfold mirrors? Heated seats on unlocking? Windows open on unlocking, closing on locking?

No problem......http://www.volvotech.eu/Function-Extender/cfe

The CFE is fairly pricey but once you have it, you're in control. All of the functions it adds are controlled by you with a laptop and in the included software loader.

With the CFE once the DRLs are off you can select them again in the future or use foglights instead of headlights.

VIDA can turn off the DRLs but it can't add the extra functions that the CFE does.

I'm sure VIDA will only turn the headlights off on earlier P2 models, after 2004/2005 facelift you have to get volvo to download software
