Volvo 340 GL 1.7
Year: 1989
Colour red
Location: East Bristol

This has failed its MOT.
Could this be useful for spare parts by anyone?
Available free on collection.

It has just failed its MOT due to rust:
- rust in suspension spring mounting,
- rust in nearside and offside front vehicle structure.
Also near-side rear brake is binding.
Further details on this can be supplied on request.

It passed the emissions test.

The engine is running without problems.
Tyres are good.
It is taxed till Nov 30.
But if no MOT, you are not supposed to drive it….?
I have been using it regularly, and have only now stopped because of this rust which will be too expensive to weld, and would only get worse I have been told.

Mileage: 156,945

O/S/F door handle missing
O/S/R door does not open

Body work: some rust under one door.

Hi do you still have the 340gl and if so would you be willing to sell the heater blower if it works and has the serial number 5048640 91r 317 stamped on it. I have a D reg 1986 model and hope their the same. Thank you . Robert
