Many thanks indeed NewVolvo. The Inperial/Metric situation was a major disappointment for me, and so the information that you've just given me - indicating that the lady at Volvo was completely wrong! - is excellent news for me.
If you don't mind I'll actually reply to Volvo quoting what you've told me, to see how she responds.

Do it

Just remember that mine is MY10 (regged July 2009) albeit with "new" D5 and new Sat Nav.

find your digi channel on this device and tune in your car radio to its FM channel output.

not very "integrated" for the smart volvo dashboard though

I agree but the market is massive for producing something simple that converts an Fm to DAB and I’m sure someone will come up with something that will be a fair bit neater given time and demand.

Meanwhile I am more concerned with the demand for new XC60s as the supply side seems to be a shambles.

I know that it is hard to believe but Volvo are holding a big XC 60 dealer push this weekend with "New Moon"

http://www.volvocars.com/uk/top/comm...d-cf4d539aac36

You have got to believe that the dealers would like to know what they are selling & how much it is going to cost!

It is even harder to believe that Auto Express have just posted a test of the XC60 R Style which is of course a 2010 that you cannot buy.

I can't help believing that something unexpected has happened at the end of the My2010.

Madness.

I was speaking to my local dealer today about the steering recall, which applies to my car, and he was moaning that he cannot get any XC60 until July as all of the build slots for UK are full already

Looks like the popularity of the XC60 is causing an issue in that they cannot make them fast enough.

Won't help those who are waiting, but may lessen the pain knowing that you are buying a very, very good car

Default Altering the specification ?

If you have a car on order how long before build date do you have to alter the specification ?

My dealer told me it's three to five weeks before the car is finally on the production line. And I'm hoping he's right because I will certainly make some changes to my order (which went in two weeks ago) as soon as Volvo finally get their act together and properly release the 2011 data.

The factory are expecting to accept orders for XC60 my2011 on the 19th April.

Default OTR pricing

This might seem a bit of a strange question but I am trying to unravel my dealers pricing.

Does the Volvo Official price list with on the road prices include the delivery charge ?
Also does the on the road price include first registration fee and first years road tax in that final OTR figure?
