Default Amazon Head Rests

This weekend I installed a set of head rests in my amazon. I had found a set of tan seats from a '68 wagon that had trashed seats but nice head rests. The minor dings and scuffs matched the original seats in my gt perfectly. Another Volvo guy and myself traded head rests in about three hours this weekend. Fredrik Lofter's instructions were great and worked well.

My question to you guys (in the UK and/or Ireland): Did you guys ever get head rests standard on amazons? I know it was a '68 only thing here in the states (they then stopped importing the amazon). It looks like they were only standard in Sweden on the 1970 cars...

Thanks
Chris

1968 model came as a 2 door only with the introduction of the B20. UK brochure - No headrests. 1969 brochure shows headrests. 1970 brochure shows headrests and is the only one I've seen that has the headrests raised up above the seatback. I'm sure some 1968 owners would have had them retro fitted.

Seats look good Chris. Nice work.

My car is a 1970 B20 and it has headrests. Although it is left hand drive as it was originally a German car. Looks good Chris.
