Question Wing mirror glass glue / adhesive

Hello and thank you for reading this message.

My Volvo is a 2006 V50. It's still great. About three months ago, the left side wing mirror glass became loose. I took it off and fixed it back in place with Loctite superglue. But I guess because I often use the heated mirrors system, the Loctite has broken down and the glass nearly fell off today.

Which glue / adhesive should be used? I have two part Araldite so could this be suitable?

Thank you again for reading this message.

Would not use cyano super glue as once cured there is no flex in the bond. Loctite do a 60 second all purpose glue, gives a strong bond similar to superglue but has a little flex once cured. Another to think about is Stix-all, a very strong adhesive with a silicon base, sticks like s@@t once cured, costs about £6 a tube. only down side being it's a silicon gun size cartridge so you could be spending a lot of time looking for other things to repair.

Gorilla glue, it won’t shift after that!

I used bathroom silicone when one of mine came loose 3 years ago. Still held fast 👍
