C30, is there a driver's footwell light?
Morning folks, I've had my C30 for 7 months now and only just noticed that there is no driver's side footwell light when I get in, although there is a passenger side one...
Is there a light this side and where is it? I've looked around and couldn't easily see where the bulb would be, clearly needs replacement if there is one. Cheers, it's a very minor thing but slightly annoying |

Thanks for the confirmation, it'll prevent my old bones and me laying upside down searching for something that may not have existed!
I'll get it replaced. |

Off-topic KMB, but how is your C30? Are you loving it still and has it been behaving?

The only issue I've suffered was poor and inefficient air con, tried a regas and this only lasted a month, the tracer in the refridgerant confirmed that the condensor needed changing. Bought a Valeo condensor online and it was nearly another £300 to get it fitted (including a new dryer and seals as well for good measure). How about your one? No issues with the large wheels? I believe you chose 19"? Last edited by kmb; Jan 8th, 2019 at 18:43. |

Unlucky on the AC issue... at least it's sorted now I guess. New 19s are a success I think as I love how it looks with them! Don't think it's affected the ride too much either (was already on 18s and I discovered the car has been on its Koni/Eibach set up its entire life) so I'm really happy with my choice on those. Later this month I'm taking the car to a specialist for it's first service under my ownership and technically it's a little early but I'm getting the cambelt and ancilliaries changed, plus the block mod as it seems a good time to do it with the belts. Will get the brake fluid changed too a I'm a little underwhelmed by the brakes plus I've no record of when it was last changed. Will be an expensive month I think!

Good update.
I'm also thinking of getting a brake fluid change on the next service for the same reasons, was wondering if something uprated might slightly improve brake feel. Let me know what you do on that front Since I'm only just at 50k miles and not 9 years old yet the cambelt can wait until the scheduled time |

The chap that owned mine put on some fancy grooved discs and pads on the front about 10k miles ago, no idea what brand but they are effective.
Just would like to see if the brake fluid change helps 'feel' as much as it did in my previous 850 T5, massive improvement but it was probably much older fluid. |
