Default V70 Mk 3 Interior light upgrade

I'm thinking of fitting LEDs to my interior lights. I want them brighter as well as whiter. I need 6 wedge base bulbs and a 42mm festoon bulb. Can anyone recommend what LEDs to get? I'm confused with the different types, number and positioning of the LEDs within the bulb. Which is best? Presumably I need canbus bulbs so as not to confuse the delay/dimmer functions?
Thanks

The wedge lights the Mk3 has are manufactured as one unit, so its a bit fiddly. You need 501 bulbs (I didn't worry about canbus) and you need to carefully pull out the existing bulb. Then got some copper wire strands and put them through the little holes in the bottom of the bulb and wind around the contacts on the side of the holder as you insert the bulb.

The pill shaped bulbs fit ok though you might need to bend the contacts a bit.

All available on eBay

Or you get these if there the same as my S80 P3

And get whatever bulbs you want to fit.

You will also need a resistor to go across the 501's to prevent them from glowing when they are off.

Any suggestions for changing the bulbs in the sunvisors?

Look like these are dinky 2W T5 bulbs.
Just a bit OCD about getting these to a similar whiteness as the LEDs if I change the interior lighting.
Like you say, these don't get much use so could get away tinting these bulbs with a dap of clear blue paint.

I was going to do the puddle lamps in the mirrors but could not get the units out.

My wedge base bulbs are separate from the holders. I wish the sellers would rate the bulbs by brightness rather than colour in K. I did this on my previous car and the LED bulb flickered and failed in a few weeks.
