Default AFM Module

Can anyone let me know exactly where, in a Volvo 2006 S40 24I, that was built in September 2005 is the AM/FM Module located.
I have read that it could be behind the right back seat, (Checked. Not there), it could be under the package shelf, (Checked. Not there), in the radio itself could not check this.
Help me please

When you say behind the right back seat, have you taken the side panel trim off? It should be under there, behind the sound deadening, near to the rear light.

I believe it depends on what sound option you have. In my premium audio S40 the AM/FM module is in the boot: behind the trim/panel on the right hand side. The amplifier is behind the trim on the left hand side of the boot.

on mine with the premium audio the afm module is on the parcel shelf, pull the shelf forward after releasing the two clips on the underside of the shelf. you should then see the afm module.

if you have any other system then the afm module is now integrated to the cd player, if you take out the player from its housing you will see the airiel wires going into the back or not as the case may be, otherwise will be under the rear shelf
