Default Interior Lights

Can anyone confirm what/where interiors lights in a XC60 (momentum)

it seem apart from the two roof lights, the only light that lights up for me at present is on the front passenger footwell.

I sort of remember, there was a light on the drivers foot well too, but is there anything in the rear passenger foot well too?

Can anyone with a XC60 Momentum confirm what normal?

I will check when I go out in a bit

Yes footwell light which only if you turn up to High are apparent. Also door trim under the door capping shining on the door card. Not sure on anything in the rear

Momentum Pro: Both footwells light up. Nothing in the rear. Weird little light in the same unit as the main reading lights in the roof.

One of my main disappointments coming from a BMW - the interior mood lighting is poor. I'm not looking for a laser show (ie not a Merc E class blue horror show) but it somehow feels like it could be smarter.

I’ve got an S90 which according to the brochure boasts “Theatre Lighting”

So disappointing coming from a Mercedes C class.

One of the few things which are really disappointing.

I believe “theatre lighting” in Volvo just refers to the fading up and down interior lighting.

Thanks

So both footwells in the front

nothing in the door to light the floor on opening?

The Pro version has puddle lights under the handles

I have a family member who owns the new 5 series from BMW and looking at Volvo and for a recent car like the XC60, the ambient light is so poor compared to BMW.

I guess for a car that costs 50000 up, it's sad to see such a poor ambient light. I am not either a fan of some laser light night discos that we see inside of some car brands and models, but Volvo could at least give us a better package from what it offers.

Funnily enough I’ve had my Volvo for two weeks now and one of the main disappointments is the interior lighting.

It’s so dark and coming from a BMW to an Audi then to this..... It’s really uninspiring.

My wife has a Cooper S Mini Countryman that has fantastic interior lighting. My Volvo in comparison seems so dull in the evening.

From one extreme to another. Who remembers Saab had a night panel button which shut all the interior lighting on the dash down aside from the speedo. Only if you touched a button or got a warning light would some more of the dash illuminate. Thought it was a great way to draw attention to the important stuff.

Agreed though that the Volvo interior lighting is a bit dull compared to some, but I've never had one of those fancy cars for trendy folks, so never experienced a mobile interior light show
