1965 P1800s
Sorry about this geeky question. Does any one know what colour the metal mounting plate for the fuse box and relays etc under the bonnet should be?
Secondly should I take any precautions when painting my engine block red. I know it will have to spotless, grease free. Do i need to use any primer? Apologies thats two questions. |

I'm not an 1800 owner but I think the relay bar is/was originally zinc plated. A satin silver would be close.
Engine paint needs no primer but the surface should be absolutely clean, smooth, and grease free. |
