Default Interior trim colour

Hi,

I need a replacement seat belt gate but can't work out what colour it should be.

Interior trim colour for my V70 is A972. Looking that up in a seems to say:

upholstery / door = sisal
dash board / top panel = off black
door insert = sisal
head liners = arena

The seat belt gates seem to be grey, beige or oak which doesn't match any of the colours above.

Any ideas.

(i could take the not missing one out to check the part number but would prefer not to).

Image of interior attached.

If by seat belt gate you mean the plastic thing that clips into the hole in the B-post, the passenger-side one was missing on my S80 when I purchased it so I bought a pattern one off ebay.

I bought a grey one by mistake, which I'll probably replace later but you should find the 3 shades in question are available on there.

Here's what I purchased, but there are a lot of other sellers too ...

Yes - that's the part.

I should have said I'm a bit colour blind and can't really tell the difference between the three options and what's currently in the car.

So what I'm asking is what colour is the one in the photo?

The one I'd purchased was a light grey colour (I'd not considered there were different shades!) and I should have gone for a lighter, sandy shade.

It looks like there are only two shades, grey and that lighter sandy shade, and that's the one I'd suggest would fit with your trim colours.

Here's an example

I'd say have a search through some of the ebay listings and see what you can find.

Mind came quite quickly from China, about 10 days max IIRC.

Just double check that the colour they're selling is the same as the one in any pictures!

^ that also looks right to me

if you're worried about damaging it by popping it off to have a look, they come off SO easy.. the main thing is use a plastic spatula or something so you don't damage any edges

if it was me I'd order both sides. that way if the colour isn't quite identical I'd replace both and say that's just what it's supposed to look like. the belt itself is a contrasting colour anyway

Thank you for answering a question I'd not thought of! I'll do what you suggest so my two match that way!

Thanks - I didn't realise they came off so easily. I thought I needed to take the door pillar trim off.

I took the LH one off and it doesn't have a part number on it - just LH 1882.

Thinking it looks beige so will be ordering a beige one. According to VIDA the colours have different part numbers but on eBay it seems the number and the colour are somewhat interchangeable.

thanks for the help.
