Damn. That's where you went wrong. When entering the vin manually, there is no need to press on the READ VEHIcLE button. Just click ok and move on. That button is to actually read the car VIN and works on all other newer Volvo models. Just not ours.

Default Dice dont reqognize car

Hello, if that help I work with my vida one week and reinstall whole computer 7 times, and that software works offline but when I tried connect to car, that wont work.

Reason is simple, with device come dvd with installation quide video and they also give cloud-side with same WRONG video.
There show "select point 6_volvo" thats all
but You must also select "point 1_dice" after that, the software read fine and connect to car..

I dont know why they spread wrong video

also thats clear ofcourse all that software required
- win7 professional 64bit.
- min. 4Gt ram
- min. 40Gt hdd
- Netframe 4.0 MAX
- ie 9 minimun.
- time/date "20.12.2014"

After 7 years reinstall all again and before install set year "20.12.2014"

Thankx

Anyone got any ideas?

I did have to do a fresh install of all the software and drivers today, won't bore you with why, but it's detecting the DICE, loaded the drivers but DICE won't speak to the car. The orange Bus interface light flashes but won't stay on. It's all been in a drawer for best part of 12 months so have no idea why it won't play anymore

Don't really want to have to fork out 60 quid getting the mobile man to come out and reset it again.
I have the problem with the SRS warning light on. This happened after I steam cleaned the carpet. My MOT is due soon so I need to get it extinguished, I am going to check and clean the connection under the passenger seat but although I am convinced that will cure whats causing it. I do not think it will extinguish the light. I am in NE London any thoughts and advices on my best plan of action.

don't forget to disconnect the battery. or more fault codes will be flagged . did you remove the seats to clean the carpet? if yes this is more than likely the cause of your srs warning light. vida or other good reader should be able to narrow down the cause of the problem.
