Mine stood for 15 years, just needed a battery to start
 I collect it next month - got that one due to bereavement aswell.

New home found
It would seem that this car has now found a new home locally. Please see 'edithrooney's' post in 'bernard's' '360 wanted' thread. She wished to thank everyone who responded to her original post and / or helped her in any way.
