Well there’s a little bit of flex in the ribbed sections of the filler pipe I think, from memory.
Mainly though, the access is so limited once the tank and pipe are in the car I have no idea how you’d do the clamp up- I needed pliers to get the clamp squeezed shut enough to get the bolt started and that was off the car with enough space to work etc. The clamp screw length doesn’t matter, it’s just a m8? Bolt, nothing special. A longer one might be easier to get started. Cheers |
