That's a bit harsh, Vauxhall's aren't that bad?

Got a 2005 V50 2.0d, had it when it was 4 years old. I do like it hence why I’ve kept it so long. Does everything I want from it. Yes, it’s had issues but I think that applies to a lot of cars.
On the key issue, if it you feel it getting tight when turning it then you know it’s going to be an issue eventually, had mine changed and it’s a lot lighter when you turn it. So it’s a V50 from me! |

Oh dear, I viewed an 07 V50 last evening and looked nicecuntil I drove it, when ever I braked even really generally the ads pump would kick in clicking away and the warning light would come on, yet let it sit at idle and there was no light on.
Then vendor claimed to not know anything about it but if I bought it would be fixed, I've heard that before so I walked but it has led to me asking this: https://www.volvoforums.org.uk/newre...eply&p=2896437 |

A lot also depends on if a company is taken over, look at Saab and GM, Volvo and ford as seen on this forum. I've experienced this first hand. I had a Mazda 626 ph2, lovely car, comfy, reliable, I did 130k in mine and never spent a penny on repairs, just maintance. I replaced it with a ph3 626, heavy ford influenced, it was not a patch on the ph2, I didn't keep it long and was the last Mazda I bought. It's always best to have some knowledge of what your looking at, I certainly don't believe everything on the web, but get good knowledge and feed back from this Forum, which I much appreciate. |
