Passenger side water leak from blower motor

I have water pooling in the front passenger side floor well.
I have resealed the vent panel on the inner fire wall. And around the intake of the fan motor under the front cowl. With Sikaflex
But I'm still getting water coming in from around the the fan.
see the photos I removed the little hose to the fan motor.
Any help?

Hi,

Is that water or coolant?
AirCon or non AirCon?

Matrix, heater valve, sunroof are all on the possibilities so far.

Definitely rain water. The car has AC but no sunroof. This happens after rain.

If I pour water in the front vent panel the one with the wipers. Water will run back into the car and out the fan motor. I can see the drips from the area in the photo of the fan. The other photo is where the water is pooling.

I have removed the vent panel were the wipers are. You see the fan directly under a plastic cover.
I re-sealed the unit where it meets the chassis, remounted and sealed the plastic drip guards.
I just can't figure were or how the water is entering the fan unit.

Hi,

Ever had the windscreen replaced? That too is a suspect.
Given no sunroof and no Aircon I would be considering the screen.

Best thing to do will be strip out the footwell of plastic bits and carpets (they need drying anyway!) and dry everything up.
Sprinkle some talc about and wait for the rain to leave tell-tale marks in the talc.
Trace at your leisure then..

Is the drain tube fitted to the bottom of the fan clear ? Any water getting into the fan should escape through this.

The one in the photo is the only one I could find. At the base of the fan. Is there another? As to me when water is there it can exit from the base of the fan.
I disconnected tube at the base of the fan while looking around and taking Photos. I put it back.
I don't think it's the screen. But I will have a good look. I just resealed some windows in my wife's car.

Some how it is getting into the fan casing and not draining.
I'd like to get this sorted as the car is near rust free, and I know this is how problems start.
