Most likely will be 2 though.

Does anyone have any experience good or bad with Thule?

Many thanks

Another +1 for Thule. We have 4x the Thule ProRide 591s, never had any problems and used a set of Thule roofbars for our previous car.

However, for our Mk1 XC60 we have the Atera Signo 122cm aero-profile aluminium roofbars. They look great and are really easy to put on and take off. They also take the Thule ProRides without a problem. They fit our Mk1 XC60 and I would expect them to fit our Mk2 XC60 when it arrives shortly as they fit the new XC90 and V90.

We have done several '000 miles (in UK and Europe) with either 4x bikes or 2x bikes plus a large roofbox on the roof of the Mk1 XC60 and counting. Doesn't do great things for the fuel economy though!

I have always used The Roofbox Company based in Sedbergh (www.roofbox.co.uk) - their customer service has always been exemplary. I have no link to them other than being a happy customer. I am checking with them at the moment to make sure that the Atera bars can be used on the Mk2 XC60.

We have a panoramic roof (and will also have one on the Mk2 when that arrives too) - just don't drop anything sharp or heavy as you put the bikes up!

I too have always used the Roofbox Company for roof racks, cycle carriers, snow socks and boot liners.

Very straightforward and easy to deal with and competitive pricing to boot!

Nothing but the words of praise for the Thule WingBar Edge!

Easy to put on/off, super quiet, and (without accessories/box..) virtually NO increase in fuel consumption. And it has that OEM look.

Just an update on this. I have heard from Roofbox that the Atera do not actually fit the new XC60. So I guess a new set of roofbars will have to be on my shopping list too.
