Default Door mirror lights.

Pick up new to us today a D3 R design. MY14.
Are the lights under the door mirrors suppose to come on when you lock/unlock the car?

Is the facility embedded in the cars menu system somewhere?

Thanks

From memory, the puddle lights come on when you press the light button on the remote fob.

Biggest waste of of a bulb these lights.

They should come on when car is unlocked or door is opened as standard. Instead, you have to press the button. It's a right faff - especially if you have keyless. Basically you just don't end up bothering with them.

Most other makes they'll come on automatically without pressing button.

Yes I think they only come on with the pressing of the keyfob light switch.

I’ve look through the Mycar menu and can’t see an option for them to come on when unlocking the car.
