It is normal to lose about 50g per year, so if your car has never been regassed that would seem about right.

Hi, i had the A/C recharged see above and about 2 days later its was blowing just cold on the passenger side and warmer on the drivers side, could it be a temp sensor and where is it and is it easy to remove and replace. my Vida is giving me the message no USB connection so no info there. A failed AQS can cause problems with the passenger side temp control, also the seat warmer.

just figured it out "Air quality sensor" Where is it? is it the one behind the tiny grill below the radio? if so how do you get to it?
Thanks Ian Last edited by ian ferguson; Nov 5th, 2018 at 21:37. |

Its in the air intake for the cabin, which is under the windscreen scuttle, on the near side. You need to remove the LH wiper arm, and as many plastic rivets as you need to get under it.
If you remove the AQS and the problem goes away then replace it (or leave it out as you wish). If it makes no difference, it is not the culprit

Interesting to hear this Ian, and I've had this fault for years but just accepted it, look forward to hearing if the AQS check reveals anything.
