Aftermarket stereo v70 2.0t year 2000
Hey guys ive been dealing with this whole week im going crazy...
I bought an android radio, and it turns on but there is no sound... Any radio i try in my volvo works but bot this one.. Bad thing is i tried the android radio in a different car and same thing no sound. How can i test if the radio is even giving out sound? Another guy told me to connect the blue wire to turn on the amp in my car. But the amp is soposed to be bypassed. Since any radio i put in works.. |

Hello Igor5336
If your Android radio turns on and all the controls work but there is no sound when tried in two different cars that suggests to me a problem with it. Could there be a 'mute' function that is turned on? Is there a 'line out' to feed to a separate amp that you could connect to a separate amp or even headphones to see if there's any sound? The only other thing I can think of is that the speaker connector on the Android radio isn't correctly wired or isn't to ISO standard. |

Tried xonnecting a bluetooth speaker but its made for in not out so it wont even connect. Im afraid that i cannot put the volume up or that it doesnt recognize the signal since the volume up and down are part of the touchscreen idk just a stupid thought donno. Only thing i was thinking is to try and connect over RCA (red white and yellow) out amp connectors to an external amp and see if it works that way, even if theres a problem with the radios internal amp, that i think should work since it over a totaly different thing or infact part of the radio... But if in the end i want to connect the thing that way ill have to do alot of rewiring and pulling wires, since the car has like 18speakers.. Ye the sound quality and strength would be even better, but would need a really good amp wich arent cheap and alot alot of work... Kinda wanted to avoid that.. Also buyuing a similar radio like that brand new would be 500eur I got this one very cheap, it should work normaly by the words of the seller, he changed cars and now doeant have space for 2 din... Atleast what he said |
