Amazon wheel option - 15x7 Legendary Minilite Repros
Picked up a set of these Wheels in silver on eBay https://www.cjponyparts.com/legendar...973/p/W1065-B/. Liked the look and couldnt resist free shipping to Alaska. Had them shod with a side of 195/60s, And fear that I may have taken too many liberties with the dictum of 7 inches at the widest. It is drivable, but the arm strength needed is greatly greatly greatly greatly increased. Will consider running for the summer season and then installing 5.5 or 6 inch wide wheels next summer.

Love the look of these wheels... at least you might be able to save some bucks by canceling your gym membership.

Looks great. Don't know what tyre pressures you're running but try about 32psi all round. Also, get an alignment check and set a little bit of toe-in. Of course, suspension and ball joints should be good and well greased. Front lower, outer ones can get rather stiff. Idler arm bush also worth checking.

Vendor page
Couldn't pull these up on my phone while posting last eve - the vendor's page with the wheels in silver -
https://legendarywheel.com/product/lw80/ In general, pleased, but a radical difference from running the 4.5" wheels with 185's on them. Derek - will double check the wheel pressure. Have the bushings, dampers and bits to redo the front suspension - need to get that done and then get the alignment set. |

185 on 4.5 isn't the best combo.
If you swap to the first series idler arm bushing made with brass and with a grease nipple it will be a hughe step forward. There is a conversion kit on the market. If you reduce caster it will be more easy at low speed. Doesn't run strait at high speed. Good luck, Kay Last edited by mocambique-amazone; Jun 5th, 2019 at 18:45. Reason: Not my natural |

No, 185's on 4.5" wide rims isn't the best combo, but it was a combination of convenience for the winter as I had the studded tires and needed something for the winter. It actually drove quite well, though was a bit balloony looking.

Checked the tyre pressure...
And sure enough they were low (some intervening travel slowed the check). Front offside was at 12 and the drivers was at 20 psig. Rears were fine at 32psig. Surprised as theyd been mounted at Costco and they typically do good work.
