If the answer isn't in one of the threads I linked first then I'm afraid I'm out of ideas - I researched the swap-over a fair bit but ended up not going for it. Sorry!

I am starting to piece everything together through research, so below is what I have read. If anyone can add any comments or put me right on a few things that would be great.

The 850 is wired up for electric seats up to the connectors under the dash from the fuse box. However, there needs to be a relay/fuse? fitted to the fuse box, which I am led to believe is actually under the fuses in the engine bay, drivers side. (accessed by undoing the four torques screws on the fuse box). Once that relay/fuse? is fitted, then all that is needed is to feed wires to the drivers seat from the correct position in the green connector and blue connector located under the dash, as shown in my previous picture. This green and blue connector is located in the red section under the dash, as there are many hundreds of wires into many connectors.

I know the position of these two wires in the connectors because I have an 850 with electric seats and that is where I got the photo's from. I believe the thick green wire is the main live and the other brown/orange wire is a diagnostic wire!! which may not be needed.

So all I need is to cut the wires off the donor car at the green and blue connectors and use these wires to then connect to the right positions in my cars green and blue connectors under the dash using what I believe is called "standard power timer connections" that fit into the tiny holes in the connectors and crimp onto the end of the wires. At this point I don't know what size these connectors are, so if anyone has the size that I need to order that would be good. The other end of the wires will just plug into the seat and the black wire to earth.

So there it is. If I get the donor car , this is what I am planning to do. If it works or doesn't work, I will post on here how I got on, as I am sure there are others that would want to know how to do it.

Cheers
