GDI Misfire

Hi,

I've just bought an 04 year GDI S40, which has developed a slight misfire. I'm new to this engine and was wondering where I should start looking to try and cure this? The misfire is present on idle and continues all the way through the rev range. Strangely, if I rev the engine, the rev counter needle drops to zero! The engine sounds as if its is misfiring on one cylinder.

When I got a misfire on my gdi, turned out to just be an injection coil. Managed to get 4 of them from a local scrappy for 15 quid, so not expensive to fix.
