Better off keeping it than selling for £950.00.

It's a really nice car and worth a lot more to you than that.

Can I just jump in here? I haven't a clue why Ross is being "attacked" like this.
I would like to point out a few things :
Ross initially CONTACTED ME when I posted here about seeing some pics of his car.
He always responded to my PMs about the car.
He provided more up-to-date photos of the car, photographing any small flaws like a tiny ding etc.
He has been totally up-front about the car and it's history.
But , more importantly , he has been 100% honest with his feelings about getting rid of the car that is his pride and joy. I've been there and done that and still regret it to this day! That is why I contacted him in the first place! I understand how he feels and do not for one moment feel he has misled anyone, wasted anyone's time or has anything to hide. He has simply changed his mind about selling his car , which by-the-by , would've been to me. I say would've been as , unfortunately , I had to use my car money on sudden home repairs . It's just the way things go sometimes. Someone could accuse me of leading him on about buying his car and then pulling out , but that's not the case either.. sh*t happens and he's entitled to change his mind. I've told Ross that if he changes his mind in the future I'd happily buy it off him.
Anyway, just wanted to give my 2p's worth.

Steve

I think the guy is referring to last year when me and my brother flew from scotland down to luton to buy a T4 off here from StewyP. When we got there, we were served with a knackered rusty misdescribed turd that I wasn't very chuffed about at the time. I think he has gotten mixed up and thought I was the seller of said turd

I have to say the car was a very nice example it took me 6 months of looking before I found it and it was BY FAR the nicest example I looked at. Ross was spot on with me but then I was 100% honest and truthful when I sold the car and it was a brilliant example.

As for changing his mind get over it, he may have been willing to sell if he got a decent offer, he didn't, so he re insured and decided to keep it so whats the issue.

I'm in a similar position in that I'm probably going to have to sell the T5 which I don't want to but I really need to due to extra miles involved in a new job, however if I get offered peanuts I will just accept the higher fuel bills and keep the car because as with ross's T4 it worth more than peanuts!!!!!

Read second page sorry. Would be interested if you decide to sell again in the near future.
