Cool Big clown feet

I have a 92 940 estate and I find that there's not much room in the drivers footwell, the pedal reach is ok, it's just that my feet catch the panel under the dash, it's not a huge problem just a minor irritition.
A few years ago I had a 240, don't remember having any problems with footroom, I don't think I've got huge clown feet and I'm not wearing flippers! anyone care to comment?

Cheers: Joe.

Thumbs up

hI, I had a slight problem with mine, but i found that it wasn't fitting in properly due to a plastic lug had broken just below the right hand side by the bonnet release, this may help.

LOL!

I have size 12s - one of the main reasons for liking my auto so much!

Size 12,
still within acceptable limits for a human I would guess. LOL!
Do your feet catch the panel above the pedals M.D?, mine do and I can't seem to push the panel any further up.
Short of having surgery I'm stumped, have all other 940 drivers got dolls feet or what???

Hmm! I've removed the under panel and had a good look, nothing's broken or missing and the panel is a good fit.
OK here's the really strange thing, I own three pairs of shoes (more than enough) all of my shoes tried and tested, same problem, big size tens catch said panel, jumped in the car today with my huge fat assed motorcycle boots on and guess what, no impediment to my footwork at all!!!
This defies the laws of physics
Totally puzzled now.

I have yet to drive my 940 auto but my 240 auto has plenty of room for my size ten's,only gripe i have is that in the 240 my left foot hasn't got anything to rest on and usually on a long drive i get pin's and needles.wierd I know because in my old manual me left leg didn't have a lot to do on a long trip iether!I am thinking i will have to make some sort of dummie pedal for me foot to rest on,
